Paul Davidson

   This 1964 Giulia Sprint Speciale was bought December 1998 from specialty car dealer in Los Angeles, (inspected by an AROC member in LA on my behalf). Car was in good overall condition but had been sitting so the Webers needed rebuilding and there was a familiar second gear crunch that led me to get the transmission rebuilt. Car was originally sold in Palermo Italy on November 11, 1964 to a Mr. Gustavo Orlando with license PA135447 and I am told it was first titled in Brooklyn, New York in the early '70's. Car went through a mechanical rebuild in the Boston area and then the owner (who I have not been able to locate), took it to California. If anyone knows some background on this car I would be very interested in knowing more. If you are an SS enthusiast come over and look this one over as it appears to be pretty original.
